Catholic Charities New Hampshire, proud recipient of Business NH Magazine’s 2020 Nonprofit of the Decade, is looking for a full-time Director of Development Operations to join our team. The Director of Development Operations works collaboratively with the VP of Philanthropy and is responsible for managing all aspects of the annual giving campaign. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating all activities related to the annual appeals, as well as ensuring resources are in place for efficient development operations.

The successful candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills, relationship building skills, be organized and persistent, have prior management experience, and a demonstrated ability to work with and motivate others.

Duties

· Have fun and make a difference as you aid the organization in providing help and creating hope for those in need.

· Assume responsibility for the planning, implementation and evaluation of all aspects of the annual giving campaign

· Research and implement creative ways to engage new donors and seek out ways to identify and re-engage lapsed donors

· Organize, coordinate and implement the annual Mardi Gras signature event, as well as provide input and assistance to team members regarding smaller events, including donor recognition events

· Work closely with the VP of Philanthropy to assist with annual budget preparation to set annual goals for all aspects of development department fundraising, including the annual giving campaign and development events; projects and tracks revenue and expenses throughout the year

· Supervise and work with the Data Services Manager and the Development Coordinator to produce reports on a regular basis that measure effectiveness of annual giving activities

· Evaluate vendors/vendor contracts for development operations and makes recommendations on renewals and/or changes

Requirements

·  A Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of supervisory and related experience in resource development 

· Annual Campaign experience with full general knowledge of the field, strongly preferred

· Previous experience with database management (Raiser's Edge preferred)

· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computers and various software packages, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat/Reader

· Ability for some night and weekend work
