Description

The Nutrition Programs Manager is responsible for planning and oversight of various NH Food Bank programs including staff development and supervision, budget development and adherence, development of revenue sources, community awareness and education in line with the mission of the NH Food Bank. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management of Nutrition Programs. 
  • Hire, evaluate, counsel, discipline and/or terminate program staff members as necessary and appropriate. 
  • Provide leadership to staff through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication
  • Responsible for program evaluation and development of work plans and goals.
  • Effectively maintain relationship with No Kid Hungry and Share our Strength to ensure proper communication of program expectations and results.
  • Direct development of annual budget including ongoing oversight of such.
  • Participate in revenue generation for NH Food Bank programs including but not limited to grant procurement, event participation, and solicitation of donors or donated items working in conjunction with NH Catholic Charities and NH Food Bank development departments. 
  • Promote proper nutrition through public relations, use of media, presentations to school and community groups and participation in food shows and fund-raising events.
  • Represent the NH Food Bank and nutrition programs at food shows, meetings, and with the general public.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, dietary, education, human services, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Must be a Licensed Registered Dietitian.
  • Valid driver’s license.
