Description

Catholic Charities New Hampshire is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team. We provide a variety of social service programs assisting clients throughout the State of NH.  Our clients come from all faiths and every walk of life and we are committed to serving every client with compassion and respect. 

This position will be responsible for assisting the COO to ensure smooth, efficient and cost-effective facilities management for the HQ & Social Service programs physical locations in NH. The ideal candidate is a jack of all trades. This is a permanent part-time position working up to 25 hours per week. This position generally works Monday thru Friday yet may occasionally require work on a weekend.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operational efficiency and outfitting of program locations including outfitting offices with furniture, appropriate workplace posters, evacuation maps and other items. Works with IT to schedule office setup for phone, internet, WAPs and other technology needs.
  • Assist with vendor selection and item procurement for a variety of items such as moving offices, cleaning and maintenance needs.
  • Ordering and purchasing of various cleaning supplies for HQ building.
  • Coordinate annual fire equipment inspections at all locations.
  • Responsible for the procurement of keys for offices and the HQ building maintaining the integrity of our keying protocol and insuring that spaces are on file with the Executive Assistant.
  • Other duties may include replacing damaged ceiling tiles, lighting bulbs, repair and painting of walls and other basic repair and maintenance projects.
  • Acts as liaison with the Building Manager for the HQ location. 
  • Participate on HQ building safety committee
  • Obtains necessary permits and permissions for events held at the HQ location.
  • Assists COO with ongoing programmatic or operational needs as requested.

 

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma and 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Must be self-starting, self-motivating and able to complete a project on time.
  • Must be proficient in basic repair & maintenance including but not limited to minor electrical, plumbing, painting & cleaning work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
  • Strong organizational skills. Adept at effectively managing multiple and competing priorities. Ability to coordinate and direct projects. 
  • Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite programs such as Word and Outlook. 
  • Attentive to detail and accurate. 
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrated service orientation.
