About the Job
Catholic Charities New Hampshire is looking for an Immigration Attorney to join our team of dedicated professionals in our Immigration Legal Services Department in Nashua. This position is a grant funded position, located in our Nashua District Office, but this position will split time between our Nashua and Manchester offices. In this role, you will provide legal immigration representation to immigrant victims of crime, including sexual assault and domestic violence, and give information, referral, and advocacy services to families and individuals in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
· Maintain an active caseload as assigned by the Managing Attorney
· Represent clients before USCIS and Immigration Court
· Casework includes, but is not limited to: Removal proceedings and relevant relief such as U visas, T visas, VAWA Self Petitions, Special Immigrant Juvenile case work, Removal of Conditions on Residence, adjustment of status, naturalization, gender-based asylum, consular processing, and employment authorization
· Interview clients from all walks of life and other cultures with respect and understanding
· Collaborate with others and interact with legal, DOJ accredited representatives, paralegals and other staff in a professional and respectful manner
· As directed you will assume responsibility for day-to-day supervision, support and evaluation of office volunteers, paralegals, and interns.
· Represent Catholic Charities NH at community meetings as well as provide community outreach and training when needed.
Requirements
· Juris Doctor Degree (JD) from an ABA accredited law school
· Active and in good standing in any state Bar
· Some experience in Immigration Law required
· Bilingual in English/Spanish (read, write and speak) is a plus
· Understands and honors confidentiality requirements
· Must have ability to travel to/attend meetings outside of the Nashua Office location
