About the Job
Catholic Charities New Hampshire is looking for a full-time (30 hours/week) Community Services Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals in our Nashua Service Location. We provide counseling services to individuals, couples and families, as well as parish and community outreach services. Our Clients come from all faiths and every walk of life and we are committed to serving every client with compassion and respect.

Job Responsibilities
• Act as the first or second point of contact for all individuals who call or walk into our offices seeking assistance
• Provide clients with basic information and referral service, help them complete the Intake process, and forward information to appropriate colleagues via entries in Apricot and other software systems
• Help Clients clarify their needs and understand their options and refer to appropriate internal and/or external resources (triage)
• Handle with special care and requests for assistance from elderly or seriously disabled Clients
• In assessing client need, discern those who would benefit from intensive case management and refer them to our appropriate resources

• Spanish speaking fluency or proficiency preferred
• Basic bookkeeping skills
• Intermediate level skills in MS Office software programs: Word, Excel, outlook email
• Computer aptitude and ability to work with database software programs to record client interactions with ease
• General understanding of social services practices & resources
• A commitment to Clients’ welfare
Salary Description
$22/hr with experience in a healthcare education or social services setting or environment
