Description

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in the Group Relations Specialist role.

Responsibilities include primary relationship manager for designated Member groups within the Member Services Team. Provides marketing, education, and support to both current and prospective Members.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in account management/marketing/communications/customer service. Strong competence in a variety of technology programs including Outlook 365, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential. Other important qualifications include strong analytics, excellent presentation skills, and a desire to excel!

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

I. Group Relations

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Members that create a trusted advisor role.
  • Maintain continuous contact with designated book of business Members through account management across a diverse range of NH public entities.
  • Accountable for existing Member satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze Members’ current plan offerings and claims experience to identify opportunities for an improved future state that aligns with the Members' objectives.
  • Respond promptly to Member requests consistent with established service standards.
  • Participates, contributes to the development, and delivers plan benefits education for presentation to Members and Participants.
  • Delivers annual claims stewardship reporting to all Member groups with more than 100 employees.
  • Participates in annual rate-setting process, including delivery and following up on renewals.
  • Maintains an accurate record of all Member activities including calls, presentations, and follow-up actions.

II. Marketing

  • Accountable for the growth through new Members and expansion of service offerings for existing Members.
  • Attend various Member association meetings for networking such as NHASBO, NHSAA, etc.
  • Develop annual marketing strategies necessary to meet Board established strategic goals.
  • Work with external underwriting and actuarial partners to prepare, deliver, and present proposals/RFPs for prospective Members.

III. Administration

  • Respond in a timely manner to Participant requests for coverage and claims issues consistent with established service standards.
  • Participate in training and seminar courses to stay current on employee benefit developments and regulations.
  • Regularly attend scheduled meetings with vendor partners.
  • Contribute to the development of Member Services Team’s annual objectives consistent with the Board approved Strategic Plan.
