About the Organization

LRCS is one of 10 designated Area Agencies in New Hampshire that provides community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders, and their families. NH’s Area Agency system serves in excess of 10,000 individuals and families. The region encompasses Belknap County and southern Grafton County. The 24 communities served by LRCS are:  Alexandria, Alton, Ashland, Barnstead, Belmont, Bridgewater, Bristol, Campton, Center Harbor, Ellsworth, Gilford, Gilmanton, Groton, Hebron, Holderness, Laconia, Meredith, New Hampton, Plymouth, Rumney, Sanbornton, Thornton, Tilton and Wentworth.

About the Job

Description

Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS) is accepting applications for a full-time Early Supports and Services Professional (ESS Professional) to join our Family Resource Center. The Early Supports and Services Professional will work with children with a variety of developmental delays and/or disabilities from birth to age three to develop an Individualized Family Support Plan to support the child’s development. The ESS Professional will work together with a supportive, dynamic team within the Family Resource Center in order to connect the family to needed resources. The right candidate will be able to balance providing hands-on services while efficiently completing paperwork. Effective communication skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently are a must.

Requirements:

Local travel will be required in order to meet families in their natural environment. Flexibility in hours and hybrid remote work options are available.

An Associate Degree in education or human services related field with relevant experience is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience working with children under 3 is preferred.
