About the Organization

LRCS is one of 10 designated Area Agencies in New Hampshire that provides community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders, and their families. NH’s Area Agency system serves in excess of 10,000 individuals and families. The region encompasses Belknap County and southern Grafton County. The 24 communities served by LRCS are:  Alexandria, Alton, Ashland, Barnstead, Belmont, Bridgewater, Bristol, Campton, Center Harbor, Ellsworth, Gilford, Gilmanton, Groton, Hebron, Holderness, Laconia, Meredith, New Hampton, Plymouth, Rumney, Sanbornton, Thornton, Tilton and Wentworth.

Description

Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS) is accepting applications for both full time and part time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in both our Residential and Day Programs! We have openings in both Plymouth and Laconia areas!

ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE! Including 7am-3pm!
 

Direct Support Professionals provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain disorders.

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! On the job training provided!

Responsibilities of a DSP:

· Provide support in the community

· Create and/or adhere to schedules designed for individuals

· Know and adhere to wheelchair and other medical equipment safety guidelines

· Medical and personal care as needed

· Meal prep as needed (Residential)

· Light housekeeping (Residential)

Skills Needed to be a Successful DSP:

Lakes Region Community Services offers a SIGN ON BONUS of $750 after 60 days of employment to newly hired Direct Support Professionals!

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma/GED required.
     

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
 

Valid NH Drivers' license, reliable vehicle, and agency-determined minimal motor vehicle insurance coverage are required. Satisfactory completion of background and applicable pre-employment physical capacity screening checks also required. We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
