About the Job

Description

About Us

One day there is stability. And the next, calamity. Lack of employment or low wages, the high cost of housing, divorce, illness, and other circumstances can contribute to a family falling on hard times.

Youth are especially impacted by homelessness. They are less likely to stay engaged with school, find jobs, and maintain friendships. They are more likely to experience depression, poor nutrition, substance use, and mental health challenges.

Seacoast Family Promise can help them regain a sense of stability with their family. They can have hope for a brighter future.

Community partners are key to this work! Seacoast Family Promise collaborates with local municipalities, businesses, social service agencies, schools, and faith-based organizations. Volunteers are welcomed for many different opportunities.

Seacoast Family Promise offers essential, results-proven strategies ensuring family success. After returning to the community with stable housing and employment, families receive aftercare support through Home Again, a continuing system of case management and support services.

Our Mission: Our mission is to empower families with children who are experiencing homelessness to achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.

Our Vision: We envision a community in which every family has a home, a livelihood and the foundation on which to build a better future together.
