Partner Event - How to Submit Congressional Directed Spending

In preparation for the Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) request process for fiscal year (FY) 2026, the Office of U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen is partnering with the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits to host an information session on the CDS application and request process.

CDS is the annual allocation of funds for federal discretionary programs that support national security, small businesses, transportation, food assistance for low-income seniors, research and development, and much more. CDS funds are only available for state and local governments and eligible nonprofit entities.

This webinar will provide you with the information you need to prepare and submit a request.

The deadline to submit a CDS request to the Office of U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen for FY 2026 is February 28, 2025. Applications available here.
