The three day institute, held July 23-25 at Granite Edvance in Concord, was a robust overview of grant writing that included presentations from expert presenters and panelists.

"I really appreciated the range of topics that provided a broad understanding of the entire grant cycle," commented a participant in a post-event survey. "It helped me refine my understand and realize where I feel comfortable figuring things out on my own and where I need more training."

Expert presenters Betsy McNamara, Full Circle Consulting, Melissa Nemon, Ph.D., Nemon Consulting LLC, Amily Ollis, Lifeboat Accounting, David Gates, GrantStation and Keryn Kriegl, NH Center for Nonprofits, offered a wide range of knowledge on the fundamentals of grant writing.

Each day a panel of local funders provided insight and clarity on the process of aligning grant proposals with funders' program priorities, philosophies, and visions. They also offered nuanced insights into crafting compelling grant proposals and also facilitated a deeper understanding of how to cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with funders.
