Community Project Funding Requests Due in March
2025 Community Project Funding requests for Representatives Ann Kuster and Chris Pappas and Senator Jeanne Shaheen are due in March.
Community Project Funding allows local governments and qualified nonprofits to receive a one-time, small to medium-sized allocation to complete projects of local importance and priority. All funds will be limited to state and local governments and nonprofits that carry out quasi-government functions.
Under guidelines by the Appropriations Committee, each Representative may request funding for up to 15 projects in their community for fiscal year 2025 – although only a handful may actually be funded. Projects are restricted to a limited number of federal funding streams, and only state and local governments and eligible nonprofit entities are permitted to receive funding. For-profit institutions, such as private companies, will not be eligible for funding. Additional information on the reforms governing Community Project Funding is available here.
