Are you creative with a passion for enhancing an individual’s professional skills? Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in training and development, adult learning, education, or related course of study preferred.
  • Prior relevant work experience accepted in place of degree.
  • Prior experience with Learning Management Systems, or other information systems preferred
  • Computer Skills and Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel are required. Previous experience with Office 365 and SharePoint is desired.
  • Following confidentiality policies regarding employee sensitive information, Waypoint Technology Policies, and adhering to Waypoint’s Hybrid Model.
  • Successful criminal check, No history of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and liability insurance coverage.

Abilities Needed:

  • Understands the content and application of adult learning theory.
  • Instructional Skills – organizing and delivering information in a clear, comprehensive manner; communicating complex ideas simply so staff understand the content. 
  • Interpersonal Skills – effective communication, relationship building, and conflict resolution skills. Creating environments of learning and growth.
  • Analytical Skills – evaluate needs, current practices, and effectiveness of training.
  • Project Management – effectively manages time, budget, logistics, and human resources for successful outcomes.
  • Technological Proficiency - MS Office, SharePoint, etc.
