Job Description
Position Summary:
The Sr. Director of Human Resources will plan, lead, direct, develop and coordinate Moore Center policies and activities ensuring legal compliance and implementation of The Moore Center’s mission and talent strategy.
The Sr. Director is responsible for the overall operation of the Human Resource (HR) department, including but not limited to recruitment, benefits, employment, and employee relations. The Sr. Director will provide policy recommendations to Senior Leadership and communicate and interpret policy for employees.
Essential Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage HR staff, including, but not limited to:
- Recruiting
- Onboarding process
- Benefits administration
- Performance management
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree; a combination of education and experience may substitute for the degree
· A minimum of 8 – 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources with direct management experience
· Professional certification in Human Resources (SHRM or HRCI) preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems and the ability to master new software
