Description

The organization

The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, a community development financial institution founded in 1983 and based in Concord, N.H., is nationally recognized as an innovator in the field of community development finance and has a rich history of providing access to capital to achieve home ownership, business growth, climate solutions, sustainable agriculture, childcare, and cooperatives that secure and protect access to affordable housing.

The opportunity

The ROC (resident-owned communities) Lender works with the ROC-NH team, which provides lending services, technical assistance, and coaching to NH’s 150 (and growing!) ROCs. The person in this position will support the ROC-NH lending staff by structuring, closing, and managing commercial real estate loans. The ROC Lender also supports the team’s credit, compliance, and quality control functions and helps develop goals, budgets, and procedures.

The successful candidate will have experience with project management, real estate development, and/or financing systems, as well as with writing and implementing commercial real estate underwriting policies and procedures, deal structuring, loan reviews, loan documentation, and managing loan portfolios.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for affordable housing, with excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills. We offer a hybrid work plan that combines remote work with time in our Concord office.
