Join an amazing team and work a rewarding job helping others. The Residence Manager is a salaried role with a flexible schedule. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide the individuals who reside in the home an enriched quality of life in their community. 
  • Ensure shift coverage 24/7 at the Greengard Residence
  • Assumes a flexible schedule in order to fill vacant shifts if necessary
  • Works under the Senior Residence Manager to  monitor, supervise, train, and evaluate all staff working in the residence. 
  • Participate in the hiring, interviewing and disciplinary action processes. 
  • Train staff and monitor implementation of client’s individualized behavioral and clinical plans and protocols.
  • Ensure residence meets all rules and regulations to obtain/maintain residence’s certification by conducting routine quality assessment reviews.
  • Provide oversight to ensure all staff in the residence administer and record individual’s medications in compliance with He-M 1201 rules and consult with residence nurse as needed to ensure documentation requirements are met.
  • Coordinates and take individuals to medical appointments in collaboration with families/guardians. 
  • Ensures all client related documentation is completed including HRST, progress notes, behavioral data, communication logs, etc.
  • Maintains active Medication Administration certification 
  • Under the guidance of the Nurse Trainer, overseen and maintains medication logs including printing and storing monthly medication sheets (MARs);
  • Ensure staff are trained in implementation of service agreement goals and objectives and that data sheets/progress notes are completed according to schedule and updated as needed. 
  • Participate in service agreement meetings and other meetings with Area Agency and ensure communication with service coordinators regarding client progress.
  • Ensure that all residential data collection systems, logs and records are up to date. 
  • Monitor the safety and upkeep of the home by overseeing day-to-day cleanliness and identifying and reporting physical site needs and repairs. 
  • Oversee usage, ordering and purchasing of individual household and health related supplies. 
  • Complete all required reports, progress notes, and other documentation is completed related to all residential events and followed up on per Greengard policy.
  • Facilitate communication between the home and day program and between staff working different shifts in the residence.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians, family members, and Area Agency on at regular, periodic basis regarding clients, their progress and schedule of both house and individual activities. 
  • Demonstrated evidence of mature judgment, good interpersonal skills, a desire to enrich clients' lives and a willingness to learn from skilled professionals.
  • Physical and mental capacity to work in stressful situations and de-escalate clients who have limited cognition and complex needs;
  • Maintains and organizes residence purchase card receipts and logs;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:  Bachelor’s degree in special education, psychology, human services or related field required; Valid NH driver’s license; First Aid/CPR certification; Must be able to pass a criminal background check; Demonstrated organizational and supervisory skills and reliable habits including timeliness and organizational skills

Preferred:  Experience working with persons with disabilities; Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training
