$5000 SIGN ON BONUS

Be part of a dedicated and compassionate team of caregivers providing comprehensive mental and behavioral health treatments.  West Central is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse to work in our mental health outpatient facilities and home visits in Lebanon and Claremont, NH.

Psychiatric Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates client’s medication status, compliance and side effects at each visit.
  • Coordinates higher level of care for clients when additional care is needed.
  • Problem-solves with clients to reduce issues that interfere with medication compliance.
  • Coordinates treatment with primary care provider, as well as psychiatrist.
  • Triages client phone calls, answers questions, and refers problems to agency psychiatrist.
  • Completes all clinical documents.
  • Stays current with evidence-based practices through supervision, trainings and independent readings, etc.

    Education:

  • BSN, RN or LPN licensed in the State of New Hampshire
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of psychiatric nursing, preferably in an outpatient setting
  • Required Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of and experience with electronic medical records
  • Walking, Standing, Kneeling, and some lifting
