
Program Coordinator
About the Job
The program coordinator will be a central member of the NHCJE team, assisting in day-to-day administrative, organizational, and operational activities of programs and events. This person will provide professional administrative support as a key resource person for the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities of the NHCJE team, consultants, and/or volunteers engaged in implementation and administration of projects.
- Organize and implement a range of programmatic activities to support NHCJE’s operations.
- Act as a liaison and ambassador for NHCJE to maintain effective working relationships with external partners.
- Assist with grant and contract development and participate in other fundraising activities.
- Assist in conference, program, event, and meeting planning, considering staffing and other needs.
- Develop and manage dissemination of communications to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will likely have a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, management, or other applicable area of interest and two years of related experience; an Associate's degree and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and work/lived experience demonstrating the ability to be successful in this role.
Key characteristics include strong interpersonal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and a commitment to issues of diversity, equity, and justice.
