The above mission is accomplished by the Coalition, which includes 12 independent community-based member programs, a Board of Directors and a central staff working together to:  1) Influence public policy on the local, state and national levels; 2) Ensure that quality services are provided to victims; 3) Promote the accountability of societal systems and communities for their responses to sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking; 4) Prevent violence and abuse before they occur.

Description

Job Objective and Summary:  Provide comprehensive statewide training, resources, and technical assistance to NHCADSV member programs and allied professionals. Collaborate with multidisciplinary partners across the state to improve system response and strengthen support for survivors of violence as they navigate child welfare, family services, and civil and criminal justice processes.

These primary job functions will be performed at the Coalition’s office in Concord, NH as well as remotely.  The employee must have access to reliable transportation to and from work. Frequent travel may be required throughout New Hampshire as necessary.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and provide statewide training on domestic and sexual violence to NHCADSV member programs, and allied professionals including but not limited to the Department of Health and Human Services, the NH Judicial Branch, law enforcement, legal assistance providers, child welfare professionals, and medical, mental health, and substance abuse providers.
  • Develop, facilitate, and maintain the Coalition’s Foundations for Advocacy training program for member programs and allied professionals, ensuring the online training modules and resources are up to date.
  • Develop and implement the Coalition’s multi-system court analysis project alongside the Program Director and other support staff.
  • Act as the primary liaison to DCYF related to the administration of the Family Violence Prevention Services Program. Provide training and coordinate and facilitate regular cohort meetings for the Family Violence Prevention Specialists and their Supervisors from DCYF and NHCADSV member programs.
  • Research, evaluate, and synthesize emerging issues in the field of domestic and sexual violence and provide technical assistance to member programs and allied professionals consistent with NHCADSV program standard, NH state protocols, and NH laws.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, policies, and procedures on issues relevant to the mission of NHCADSV.
  • Attend and Represent NHCADSV at statewide meetings and committees and participate in the development of or revisions to protocols, policies, and procedures necessary to meet the needs of victims/survivors.
  • Provide ongoing updates and information sharing among Coalition staff/departments.
  • Provide resources and content for the NHCADSV website and social media on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain data of training delivered and online modules accessed.
  • Assist in writing grant applications and grant reports.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience with curriculum and program development.
  • Skilled in analyzing complex information and translating it into guidance for diverse audiences.
  • Training facilitation and public speaking experience with both small and large groups. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to domestic and sexual violence issues.

Preferred Skills:   

  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to follow through on projects and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrated experience with training facilitation and public speaking.
  • Substantial experience training on issues of domestic and sexual violence for diverse professionals. 
  • Familiarity with legal and administrative systems related to domestic and sexual violence and child abuse.
  • Ability to take direction, work alone and as part of a team, and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to engage an audience in formal training.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Publisher and experience with online design and learning platforms
