LRCS is one of 10 designated Area Agencies in New Hampshire that provides community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders, and their families. NH’s Area Agency system serves in excess of 10,000 individuals and families. The region encompasses Belknap County and southern Grafton County. The 24 communities served by LRCS are:  Alexandria, Alton, Ashland, Barnstead, Belmont, Bridgewater, Bristol, Campton, Center Harbor, Ellsworth, Gilford, Gilmanton, Groton, Hebron, Holderness, Laconia, Meredith, New Hampton, Plymouth, Rumney, Sanbornton, Thornton, Tilton and Wentworth.

Description

 Lakes Region Community Services, a non-profit social services agency, is currently hiring part time In Home Care Services Providers and Personal Care Service Providers to provide individuals with the assistance and/or care as outlined by the plan of care. We have the following openings. 

  • Part time in Laconia, Belmont, Tilton, Meredith, Claremont, Lebanon, and West Lebanon

Essential Job Functions 1) Provide Assistance with light housekeeping, which shall include;

  • Washing Dishes
  • Dusting
  • Vacuuming
  • Sweeping
  • Cleaning the kitchen and bathroom
  • Errands such as going to the pharmacy, the post office, or the library

2) Provide Assistance with the following Household Tasks;

  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Cooking and storing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Shopping for groceries, clothing, and other items
  • Laundry

3) Provide supervision with daily living such as dressing, eating, medication assistance, ambulation, and socialization

 4) Assist with transportation needs 

5) Assist with hosting family and friends when the visit individuals homes
 

Up to $12.84/ hr for In-Home Care Provider and up to $14.50/ hr for Personal Care Service Provider 

Requirements

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.Valid NH Drivers' license, reliable vehicle, and agency-determined minimal motor vehicle insurance coverage are required. Satisfactory completion of background and applicable pre-employment physical capacity screening checks also required. We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
