About the Organization
Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention (MCVP) is the domestic and sexual violence and stalking crisis center for the 44 towns of the Monadnock region. MCVP is a member program of the NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence and a Monadnock United Way agency.
MCVP’s mission is to respond to domestic & sexual violence & stalking in our community by providing a care & support system for survivors and to work to end interpersonal violence in all forms through primary prevention, community engagement & collaboration.
About the Job
The Director of Direct Services (DDS) manages all aspects of MCVP’s Direct Services Program, including supervision of full-time, per diem and volunteer advocates, and provides, as necessary, direct services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking.
The DDS reports to the Executive Director and is part of the Leadership Team. Internal and external facing responsibilities include direct services for clients, legal advocacy, project management, and fostering relationships with other local nonprofit organizations, law enforcement, healthcare providers, NH Division for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF).
