Community Partners is the community mental health center, Area Agency for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders, the Family Centered Early Supports and Services and the Partners in Health provider in Strafford County, NH. In addition, Community Partners is the ServiceLink in Strafford and Rockingham County, NH.
From comprehensive healthcare for people with mental health conditions, to individualized services for people with developmental disabilities, to education and support services for relatives of clients, we help people across the lifespan. Annually, the Agency delivers high quality social services to nearly 5,000 people. Our dedicated staff of over four hundred cast a wide net. Our funders include Federal, state and local governments, plus foundations and individuals.

We serve people who experience emotional distress, mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, chronic health needs, acquired brain disorders, as well as those who are in need of information and referrals to long-term supports and services.

About the Job
We are seeking an organized, detail oriented and flexible individual to fill the role of Council Administrator.
The Council Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Developmental Services Quality Council.
This position will be approximately 7 hours per week, compensated at a rate between $18 - $20 per hour based on experience.
This position is mostly remote, however may require an occasional in person meeting. Must reside in NH.
The Council Administrator will provide administrative support with a focus on supporting the goals and missions of the Councils. Responsibilities include:
- Organize and attend all Council meetings and subcommittee or special meetings as directed
- Ensures all Council members with disabilities have access to support and accommodations to participate in meetings
- Prepares and distributes council correspondence in a timely manner
- Coordinates payments to family members for participation in meetings
- Maintains accurate fiscal and historical records of Council activities
- Investigates funding opportunities including grants and fundraisers
- Assists with the coordination of Council activities including press conferences, coordination with other Councils and legislative tracking
- Develops, manages and maintains Council websites and social media presence as directed
- Drafts annual reports and completes all required reporting
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of one to two years of related experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly organized manner
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality guidelines
- Able to use technology
Must be able to pass background checks which may include criminal background checks and motor vehicle record check.
