About the Job
The Moore Center in Manchester, NH is seeking a full-time Clinician to provide specialized mental health services at our area agency.
The Clinical Therapist will provide coverage for direct individual and/or group counseling and therapy to clients of the Moore Center. The Clinical Therapist will provide multiple aspects of support and guidance to therapists and non-clinical support personnel.
The Clinical Therapist will utilize established, evidence-based practices to promote opportunities for growth, healing, and wellness for identified clients. In addition will provide consultation and summaries with recommendations to intake services and provide clinical support for legal services as needed.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field, preferably with a license to practice. If not, licensing supervision is available. (LCMHC, LICSW, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge in clinical counseling, developmental disabilities, psychology or social work.
- Previous experience working as a member of a clinical team in the mental health field is desirable.
- Experience in Illness Management Recovery Model preferred.
- Proficiency in various software applications including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours.
- $100,000/300,000 Automobile Liability Insurance.
- Licensed by the Board of Mental health, preferred
- Master's degrees within one of the following degrees: Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling or another degree qualified for licensure eligibility by the NH Board of Mental Health
· Demonstrated knowledge in field of clinical counseling, developmental disabilities, psychology or social work.
· Previous experience working as a member of clinical teams in mental health field desirable.
· Experience in Illness Management Recovery Model preferred.
· Proficiency in various software applications including Word, Excel, and Access.
· Valid driver’s license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours.

Additionally, staff are required to maintain criminal, motor vehicle and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services record checks that meet agency standards. Staff are also required to travel and transport clients when applicable. This includes having access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license and maintaining personal auto insurance of $100,000/300,000.
