Seacoast Family Promise is a drug and alcohol free, safe family shelter for families and children under the age of 18.

Located in Exeter, NH we have a 90% non-recurrent homeless rate and have placed 100% of our families into stable living environments with the tools necessary to succeed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct Services

  • Assess families for strengths and barriers
  • Maintain precise and accurate documentation of case management services
  • Assist families and individual needs, identify goals, and establish appropriate steps towards achievement
  • Provide budgeting and fiscal management education, including banking and credit repair
  • Provide community resource referrals for clients
  • Observe client confidentiality and follow HIPPA guidelines

Community and Networking

  • Serve as a liaison for the community, schools, agencies, and resources
  • Represent and promote Seacoast Family Promise throughout the community
  • Attend trainings when possible
  • Participate in community networking events

Databases, Statistics, and Tracking

  • Track program statistics of in network and aftercare guests
  • Analyze and report program statistics
  • HMIS database training is a plus

Post Program

  • Manage ‘Home Again’ aftercare program serving graduate families and individuals
  • Document contact and progress of family engagement in aftercare programming
  • Provide ongoing mentoring for individuals and families following completion of program
  • Provide community resources and referrals for individuals and families
  • Flex hours to meet with clients as needed outside of normal work hours

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Flexible and effective collaborator, able to adapt to changes and a busy workplace environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, address multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to self-motivate
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and people skills
  • Reliable, compassionate, attentive, and respectful
  • Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher

  • First aid certification is a plus
