Description

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a setting working with a wide variety of clients and services;

  • The ideal candidate will screen applications for income eligibility and verification for a variety of programs, including financial assistance applications through several local municipalities per their guidelines;
  • Conduct scheduled interviews to determine financial and social service needs and refer to appropriate resources;
  • Meet with walk in clients with immediate emergency assistance needs, make initial eligibility determination and provide assistance as applicable;
  • Must be able to articulate reasons for decisions and be comfortable with finalizing case resolution;
  • Will have an ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while providing exceptional customer service;
  • Work independently and produce thorough and accurate documentation;
  • Knowledge of area resources helpful;
  • Position can be part time or full time.
