The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire is a non-profit organization, incorporated in 1904, with the mission to help pets and the people who care for them. The ARLNH is dependent upon fundraising events, private donations, grants, and program fees to support its cause. The ARLNH currently has a small team of 14 people who work together closely to make a huge difference in the lives of people and animals. We laugh together, we cry together and we make it through each and every day as a work family. Our job is tough, but fulfilling and we lean on each other to get through.
The right candidate for our job has a positive outlook on life and is dedicated to our mission. We are willing to train the right person if they fit into our family and we are pretty flexible on the rest. Some day-to-day tasks include:
- Cleaning animals
- Scheduling appointments for adoptions and surrenders
- Performing adoptions and intakes
- Positive reinforcement training
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Be on your feet for long periods of time
- Comfortable in animal handling
- Ability to maintain a good relationship with the public and board members
- Work well with teammates
Details:
- Part/Full-Time
- Pay $16/hour to start
