Position Overview: We are seeking an Accountant with experience in nonprofit to join our finance department in Laconia. The position involves reconciling investment and bank accounts, preparing month-end closing entries, processing month-end closings, and preparing financial reports for the month-end. Additionally, this role supports the annual budget process, maintains resident files, and addresses accounting issues unique to a Retirement Community.
Candidates must demonstrate critical thinking, positive problem-solving, and issue resolution skills, as well as effective interaction and communication abilities with residents, staff, and co-workers.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- 3+ years of recent experience as an accountant with nonprofits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in nonprofit
- Experience with Yardi software desirable.
