Developing & Using a Logic Model for Effective Programs

We encourage you to attend with at least 1 additional person from your organization to maximize the benefit of this program. Please register team members together to receive the discount. Program managers, grant-writers, and Chief Executives of small to medium-sized organizations will benefit most from this program.

This interactive workshop converts a dry topic (logic models) into a practical and productive hands-on session where participants will leave with their own draft outline of a logic model for an existing or conceptual program or project.

Light lunch will be provided.

A logic model is often seen as a tedious task done after drafting a grant proposal. However, it should ideally be used as a key planning tool before writing begins. A good logic model connects the target audience, desired outcomes, measurement methods, activities, resources, and budget. Creating one early improves grant proposals and helps execute programs effectively. It also guides decisions on what to adjust if the project isn’t fully funded. Developing a logic model ensures a clear, intentional strategy focused on the desired results.
