Teri is a founding partner of The Thalia Group LLC and has worked in the nonprofit sector since 1979 in a variety of senior leadership roles, as a consultant, and trainer. Her organizational development expertise includes executive leadership transition, executive & Board Chair coaching, strategic planning, governance, meeting facilitation, teambuilding, and change management.
Teri’s experience as a trustee on both local and national governing boards, plus her more than 20 years as a non-profit CEO and experienced Interim Executive, gives her a unique perspective. In 2010, she founded and continues to facilitate, a quarterly roundtable for nonprofit Board Chairs on Maryland’s rural eastern shore.
Teri holds a Masters of Human Services Administration from Antioch University New England where she focused on organizational development, consulting, and training. Her values-based approach to her work with all her clients is informed by her work with Parker Palmer, the Trustee Leadership Development Program, and her training and experiences as a Project Adventure facilitator. Teri is also a BoardSource Certified Nonprofit Governance Consultant.
