| Manchester, NH - Devine Millimet attorney Kristin Mendoza has been elected president of the New Hampshire Women's
Bar Association, or NHWBA. Founded in May of 1998, the NHWBA helps promote and support the advancements and
interests of women within the legal community. Attorney Mendoza has previously served on the NHWBA board as a
representative of Hillsborough County South. Her two-year term will begin August 1, 2008.
Attorney Mendoza is a member of Devine Millimet's Corporate Practice Group concentrating her practice in mergers
and acquisitions and general corporate law. She also counsels clients on trademark and copyright registration,
contract drafting and negotiation, debt and equity financing, business formation, corporate governance,
employment, and commercial leasing. Attorney Mendoza is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
In addition to her new role as president of the NHWBA, Mendoza serves on the Member Professionalism Committee for
the New Hampshire Bar Association. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Southern New
Hampshire Women's Business Network and the Downtown Women's Club. |
