Leadership Seacoast, a non-profit organization that positively impacts the communities of the Seacoast area by developing a base of effective, knowledgeable, and engaged leaders, recently held its annual meeting and elected the 2008-2009 officers. Cheryl Lee Bozek, a business consultant & associate for Wellness Strategies was elected as Board Chair; Sean Clancy, principal, Leverage Coaching & Consulting, was elected as Vice Chair; Colby Gamester, an independent contractor and consultant, will continue to serve as Secretary; and Cindy Boyd, Assistant Executive Director for United Way Greater Seacoast, was re-elected as Treasurer.
Leadership Seacoast also announced the following newly appointed board members to serve a three-year term: Rick Dexter, owner Lynlouart LLC; Carol Aten, formerly the Executive Director of Squamscott Community Commons; Keith Banford, founder and CEO of Daystar Computer Services; Julie Howard, currently presiding as Clerk of Court for Strafford Superior Court; and Mark Sullivan, President and Chief Investment Officer for Seacoast Asset Management, Inc.
The Board of Trustees also includes out-going Board Chair, Alison Pyott, Veris Wealth Partners; Leslie Haslam, Director of Exeter Adult Education; Angela Carter, Vice President of Calypso Communications; Raymond A. Letourneau, Director Electric & Gas Operations for Unitil Service Corporation; and Sharon Cuddy Somers, attorney with Donahue, Tucker & Ciandella, PLLC.

"We've worked diligently during the last year to move to organization forward by creating an engaged alumni network, welcoming new leadership with the addition of Jennifer Wheeler as Executive Director, and planning for future needs."
