Description:

A growing public health non-profit seeks a Business Administrator to be responsible for all office and grant management functions, and provide administrative leadership for all projects.
The Business Administrator will perform contract management, will manage procurements, will organize events and meetings and keep the accounts.  He or she will conduct communication activities, manage the technology infrastructure including email and web services, will maintain minutes of Board, partner and community meetings, and provide logistical support for all programs.  He or she will be responsible for all staff administrative processes, project time tracking and will manage grant budgets. Hours: 20 per week

Requirements:

The Business Administrator should possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a business or management area, and experience in financial functions including payroll, journals and general ledger.  Experience in a grants management environment and in development and fundraising is desirable.  The Business Administrator will preferably have a track record working for a non-profit in an administrative leadership role.  Strong Microsoft Office skills required.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include financial operations, accounting, and budget management.  The Business Administrator will be responsible for all contracts management and state and federal reporting requirements for grant-funded programs.  Job will include coordination and organization of events, administration of our technical infrastructure, and project management.  The Business Administrator will support the development and philanthropy program through letter writing, gifts management and stewardship functions.
