Home Visitors needed full time in Manchester, Nashua & Concord, NH locations.

As a Home Visitor you will provide support to families prenatally and to those with children of all ages. Focusing on understanding and supporting Parent/Child Interaction that promotes optimum social emotional and physical development of children. The Home Visitors work in partnership with schools, state agencies, and medical providers as well as social service agencies to address families concrete needs and to help promote family self sufficiency.  Home visits follow a protocol developed by Maternal and Child Health and the evidenced based curriculum, Parents as Teachers.  Reflective supervision is provided to support the work of the home visitor.   Child and Family Services is an equal opportunity employer offering a flexible work environment, ample paid time off and a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental, group life and long term disability insurance, flexible-spending accounts for health and dependent care.


BA degree in Social Work or related field (experience can be substituted for some education). Previous experience with home visiting, infant/toddler development, parenting education preferred. Experience working with trauma including knowledge of ACES is a plus. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently collaborating with client and staff to coordinate services. Other skills needed are the ability to complete paperwork timely and effectively as well as having strong verbal and face to face communication skills.  The chosen candidate will also be required to submit to a criminal background, motor vehicle record check and have auto insurance which must meet agency standards.
