Awake Overnight Direct Care Counselor

NFI North, Inc., a nonprofit human service agency operating programs in the states of Maine and New Hampshire. We provide community based services ranging from counseling, in-home support and case management to special education and residential treatment.


NFI North is seeking Awake Overnight Direct Care Counselors for our Transitional Housing Program in Concord, NH.  This program is a residential program providing care to adults with a prolonged history of mental illness and hospitalization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with client population.

Responsibilities:

Supervise the daily activities of consumers, providing ongoing support, guidance and role modeling. Facilitate consumer improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills and behavior.
