Harbor Homes is a non-profit community-benefit organization that provides low-income, homeless, and disabled New Hampshire community members with affordable housing, primary and behavioral health care, employment and job training, and supportive services. As a member of the Partnership for Successful Living, Harbor Homes offers a unique, holistic approach to care that results in better outcomes for our clients and the community.

Harbor Homes seeks an experienced, proven grant writer to help more than 6,000 of NH’s most vulnerable residents gain and maintain access to the health care, housing, and supportive services needed to maintain independence and successful community living.

Writing grants and reports for a growing non-profit Agency, the ideal candidate will have grant writing experience within the health and human services arena, with a focus on supportive housing, primary and behavioral health care, workforce development, veterans services, and substance use disorder treatment.  

Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of successful grant writing experience required, as well as a proven record of accomplishment winning foundation, state, and federal grants. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; SharePoint experience is a plus. This position could be part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate; it can also be onsite or remote. The ideal candidate would be able to commit to at least 40 hours a month (10 hours a week). Some regional travel may be required.

Pay commensurate with experience and track record.
