Child & Family Support Therapist - Autism Spectrum Disorders

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based mental health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time therapist to work in our Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Program providing community based therapy where needed, including office, home, school, and prmiary care settings, to children with an ASD and their families.  The ideal candidate will have experience and interest working with children with an ASD and their families. 
 
As an ASD clinician, you will have the opportunity to engage with children of all ages and their family members.  You will be part of a dedicated team of professionals engaged in similar work, and benefit from significant collegial support.

Requirements:

·         Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education or related field.
·         Experience working with children with autism.
·         Background in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred
·         NH Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) preferred.
 
NOTE: If you have credentials from another state, our Human Resources Department can assist the successful candidate in securing the appropriate licensure to practice in NH.

Responsibilities:

·         Child, parent, family and group therapy
·         Provide behavioral support and intervention in home, community and office settings
·         Teach skills and alternative behaviors to support child’s functioning
·         Provide parent training/education/modeling of specific interventions
·         Case management and interagency coordination
·         Crisis management
·         Treatment planning
·         Clinical assessments
