Coordinator of Community Collaboration Projects

Founded in 1963, Riverbend Community Mental Health is a private, nonprofit organization providing specialized behavioral health services in central New Hampshire. Core services include 24/7 emergency mobile crisis services; counseling services for children, adults, and families; and community support, vocational services, and residential programs for adults and seniors. Evidence-based models of treatment guide all our work, and we strongly believe in the power of self-directed growth and recovery.

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time coordinator to work in our Children’s Intervention Program(ChIP).  The Coordinator of Community Collaboration Projects coordinates and manages program initiatives that have an interagency or inter-departmental focus. This includes but is not limited to school-based and community projects, interagency grant collaborations, interface between the Children’s Intervention Program (ChIP),  and Riverbend Substance Use Programs, and the interface between ChIP and adult services.

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family therapy or a related field is required.
  • Eligibility for NH Licensure as LCMHC, LICSW, or LMFT is required.  Active licensure in NH is preferred.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, their families, and the children’s system of care is required.
  • 2 years of supervisory/management experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the NH community mental health system is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills are required.

Note: If you have credentials from another state, our Human Resources Department can assist the successful candidate in securing the appropriate licensure to practice in NH.

  • Maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with inter and intra-agency partners,
  • Organizing and coordinating meetings and case reviews with partners
  • Developing effective processes and systems to enhance collaboration and communications
  • Supervising some staff in community based initiatives
  • Promoting opportunities for  community collaboration
  • Maintaining a small clinical caseload
  • Actively participating in the ChIP coordinator’s management team
