We are growing!  An exciting opportunity exists for a customer service oriented, innovative thinker who exercises sound judgement and can work proactively with others to support efforts on behalf of the Partnership. 

The Partnership for Successful Living is an efficient and innovative collaboration of six non-profit organizations providing access to housing, health care, education, employment and supportive services to help individuals and families achieve sustainable independence.  


Under the direction of the IT Manager, the IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing internal clients with superb customer service and technical support. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for IT Support for conference room services, conducts second level incident response, and installs, configures and troubleshoots Partnership issued workstations and personal devices.

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Setup, breakdown, maintenance and upgrades of conferencing and presentation equipment.
  • Ownership of IT conference room support functions, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Technical lead and resource on IT projects as assigned.
  • Installs and troubleshoots personal computer related hardware and software according to departmental standards.
  • Resolves hardware and software issues with minimal disruption to system users.
  • Provides help desk support as needed.
  • Assists in development of IT and infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinates hardware repairs with vendors.
  • Build and update desktop and laptop images.
  • Monitor security systems (antivirus, anti-spyware) and clean infected machines.
  • Perform some server maintenance (image updates, patch management).
  • Smart phone and tablet support and troubleshooting.
  • Creates badges for new employees on a regular basis          

The successful candidate will possess:

•    Bachelor’s Degree.

  • 3 - 5 years of related IT experience.
  • Proven experience installing and supporting Windows in a networked environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working with directory services software (Active Directory).
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments and contribute to the department’s ability to meet or exceed goals and standards.
  • Ability to maintains current knowledge of trends and developments affecting the area of specialization.
  • Help desk experience is desirable.
  • A/V conference room support is desirable.
  • A+ certification is desirable.
