An exciting opportunity exists for a Chief Information Officer! As the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will be responsible for the overall strategy, execution and management of the technical investments and operations for the organization.  In addition, you will successfully deliver IT strategies, services and operations which enable the Agency to achieve its goals and objectives as we continue to grow. 

Responsibilities to include: 

  • Collaborating with management and staff to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for the application of information technology which meet business needs. 
  • Reviewing overall project resource demands across the entire Agency to ensure technology and operations meet capacity needs and demands.
  • Developing, documenting, and reviewing goals and metrics for all IT operations and personnel.
  • Developing and managing budgets for information technology initiatives, including costs and timing of IT project delivery.
  • Overseeing contingency planning and IT security and compliance by establishing controls and processes in support of data security, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Establishing, promoting and fostering project management methodology standards within the organization.
  • Managing the review and negotiation of major IT vendor agreements.
  • Managing and developing the IT staff to deliver quality service.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of increasingly technical work experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Must have substantial managerial experience in formulating, planning, leading, directing and controlling complex, broad, and highly technical functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, methodologies, and resource management principles.
  • Wide range of technical understanding across IT disciplines.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and execute deadline driven projects with ability to prioritize multiple and competing projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement a technology empowered business strategy.
