Administrative Assistant-MD

For 40 years, West Central has provided community based mental health care provider for New Hampshire's Sullivan County and the Upper Valley. 

We have an exciting job opportunity for an Administrative Assistant for our Doctors and Emergency Services team.

West Central Behavioral Health is a nonprofit community mental health care provider for Sullivan County and the Upper Valley. We strive to ensure access to advanced counseling, treatment, and support for people of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay. In support of this goal we have created a new position with our organization. The Administrative Assistant will be based in Claremont, NH.


Primary Position Requirements:
•Excellent organizational and communications skills, to include strong telephone skills
•Must be flexible, maintain confidential and professional demeanor with attention to detail and ability to work independently
•Excellent customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to relate to clients and staff
•Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software
•The ability to perform tasks quickly while being consistently accurate
•Transcription experience desired

Primary Duties:
•EMR Experience
•Pulling/Filing charts
•Scheduling of appointment, monitoring and tagging for billing.
•Obtaining records from outside agencies
•Monitoring of Medline for 2 locations, handling refill requests, messages for MD's
•Administrative support for Emergency Services team
•Occasional coverage for front staff
