Home Visitor needed for (20 hour) part time position for the Healthy Families Program serving the Manchester, NH area.

Home visitors provide support to families beginning in the prenatal stage through the child’s first year of life. As Home Visitor, you will help the families focus is on prenatal health and wellness, family support and child development as well as assisting families in accessing various program and services in the community. The Home Visitor works in partnership with schools, state agencies, medical providers as well as social service agencies to help promote family self sufficiency.  Child and Family Services is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements:

BS or BA degree required with experience and 1 to 2 years of home visiting, infant/toddler development, parenting education preferred.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as having the ability to collaborate with families and staff to coordinate services. Other skills needed are the ability to complete paperwork timely and effectively as well as having strong verbal and face to face communication skills. The chosen candidate will also be required to submit to a criminal background, motor vehicle record check and have auto insurance that must meet company standards.
