Spaulding Youth Center

Spaulding Youth Center, located on a spacious campus in Northfield, NH, is a nonprofit dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of emotionally and/or intellectually challenged children, youth and their families. The individual in this position will provide administrative, clerical and other support services as well as implementing key aspects of the Admission Departments procedures as directed by the Admissions Director.  A key role in maximizing customer service and enhance the enrollment of students in all programs and services offered by Spaulding Youth Center.  Additionally, assignments will include in reviewing and assessing student/family referral information to determine their potential match for the programs and services by Spaulding Youth Center, contact current and potential referral sources to insure a successful admission process, process referrals, interview and admission information into data base, develop and maintain strong professional relationships with children, families as well as referral sources at the SAUs, DCYF and out of State customers, coordinate and facilitate interview and admission meetings, maintaining current student population census and provide census and program utilization data to administrators, provide administrative support to the Admissions Director, conduct customer surveys, collaborate with external agencies, businesses, families and Spaulding team members and developing/improving the forms, documents, brochures and other promotional materials within the Admissions Department.


Bachelor's Degree is required and understanding of the Child Welfare and Special Education systems for New Hampshire preferred. The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle and maintain confidential information. Candidate demonstrate proficiency using MS Office applications with strength in Excel and be generally technologically savvy.
