Coalition Coordinator - MUCH

Keene Housing Kids Collaborative

Monadnock Understands Childhood Hunger (MUCH) is a coalition of stakeholders from the Monadnock Region working to combat childhood hunger in the region.

The issue of childhood hunger in the Monadnock Region is serious and under-appreciated.  Though individually many organizations and individuals are trying to address this challenge both locally and at the state-level, there could be more coordinated effort and a greater degree of collaboration to create sustainable solutions at large scale.

Functioning as the “backbone” entity for our region’s work to combat food insecurity for children, MUCH can help define a common understanding of the problem and collective vision for solutions; track shared measures of need and progress; ensure constant, consistent and collective messaging and advocacy; and help coordinate mutually-reinforcing activities of partners for greater impact.

Keene Housing Kids Collaborative acts as the umbrella organization for MUCH, and currently serves as fiscal agent for funding from the NH Charitable Foundation.
