Spiritual Counselor - Hospice Program

Job Details:

The Spiritual Counselor provides spiritual care for Palliative Care & Hospice patients and families.  Functions as an integral member of the Palliative Care & Hospice interdisciplinary team and facilitates components of the spiritual care to assure that spiritual care is made available to all patients and family members ensuring that their needs are sensitively addressed.   Responsibilities include spiritual support, counseling, as well as education to members of the interdisciplinary team, staff, physicians and the community.


Individuals with a Master's degree in Spiritual Ministry or at least 2 units of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education).  Previous Spiritual Counseling experience in a healthcare setting helpful.  

Previous Hospice and/or oncology experience is preferred.


Work Schedule and Requirements:

Part-time (24 hours per week).  Travel is required for this position.  Must have auto insurance and reliable transportation.
