Development & Community Relations Department

The Development Specialist position with West Central Behavioral Health offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to enter or advance a career in non-profit development, fundraising and community relations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. S/he will be part of a small, dynamic Development & Community Relations department, and bring an “all hands on deck” approach to handling a diverse array of tasks and multiple timelines. S/he will work with the Director of Development & Community Relations to create and implement a comprehensive development plan, and serve as a liaison with internal and external constituencies.

Responsibilities:

The opportunity will include hands-on experience in a wide range of development and fundraising activities, from donor relations to events and digital marketing. If you like the idea of growing support and awareness for a cause, this position will tap and build the essential skills needed to succeed –acute attention to detail to manage a donor database, excellent written and oral communications skills to build community engagement, and a donor-centric approach to cultivating current and prospective donors
