The Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) Supported Employment Specialist works under the general direction of the Vocational Coordinator.  He or she insures that clients referred by Clinical Teams for employment assistance obtain employment based on a match between the client’s interests, needs, abilities and goals, and the employer’s needs, and are job coached, as required, once a successful job placement is obtained.

The individual works cooperatively with employers, supported employment colleagues, NH Vocational Rehabilitation, referring agencies, treatment teams, and the client to obtain successful competitive placement at a level commensurate with their skills.  The individual will provide job coaching, if required, and/or desired by the client, to insure a successful job placement.

Training for this position is slated for December, 2017.

The position requires a high degree of self-motivation, creativity, and a focus on outcomes. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation, Psychology, Education or related Human Services is required; two years of experience in human services field and/or sales experience a plus. Minimum of one year of training/experience in vocational rehabilitation and support preferred.  Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office is needed.
