Licensed Clinician - Adults

Riverbend Community Mental Health

Founded in 1963, Riverbend Community Mental Health is a private, nonprofit organization providing specialized behavioral health services in central New Hampshire. Core services include 24/7 emergency mobile crisis services; counseling services for children, adults, and families; and community support, vocational services, and residential programs for adults and seniors. Evidence-based models of treatment guide all our work, and we strongly believe in the power of self-directed growth and recovery.


Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based mental health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time clinician to work with adults in our counseling center, Riverbend Counseling Associates.

As a Licensed Clinician, you’ll be joining a fantastic team — with experience and expertise in a variety of treatment modalities.  If you need scheduling flexibility and a healthy work/life balance, this could be exactly what you are looking for!

Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field.  
  • Active licensure as LCMHC, LICSW, LMFT or Psychologist required.

Note: If you have credentials from another state, our Human Resources Department can assist the successful candidate in securing the appropriate licensure to practice in NH.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience with utilizing a variety of short-term treatment approaches, working with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Flexibility to work effectively with a wide range of adult populations
  • Experience or specialization in trauma recovery and/or dual diagnosis interventions
  • Familiarity with employing Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy treatment modalities
  • Participation in a team-oriented work environment. Clinical leadership skills are a plus.
  • Availability during weekday evenings and/or Saturday mornings is preferred
