Fellowship Housing Opportunities provides decent, safe, affordable housing with support to members of our community who live with mental illness. Since the mid 1960’s, Fellowship Housing Opportunities has worked to build a community in which people with mental illness are able to manage their daily lives, be good neighbors, access resources, and find acceptance.


Fellowship Housing Opportunities is seeking a full-time Business Operations Assistant to work at our administrative office in Concord, NH. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

As the Business Operations Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for all callers and visitors to the organization's office. You will also be responsible for providing clerical, accounting and general operations support to the administrative team.

Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in accounting, business administration, public administration or similar program.
  • Minimum of three year's of experience in a similar business operations position.
  • Familiarity with non-profit environments and/or affordable housing is desired.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Windows/Office Suite products.
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, problem solving skills and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in routine
  • Completion of both a criminal background and motor vehicle check.
  • A valid NH Driver’s license, personal vehicle and auto insurance
Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Responsibilities include: answering the phone and door and directing all inquiries to the appropriate individuals, running routine errands, attending meetings and preparing minutes, maintaining filing systems and the organization's databases, monitoring and reordering supplies when necessary and composing letters and memos.
  • Accounting Responsibilities include: collecting rents, processing accounts receivable, making bank deposits, invoicing tenants, assisting in processing accounts payable and reconciling monthly credit card and credit account statements.
  • Operations Responsibilities include: billing for services, creating tenant work orders, publishing monthly tenant newsletters, maintaining organization's website, providing assistance with donations and fundraising and providing assistance with grant writing activities.
