Family Visitation Program Manager, Lebanon, NH. The Family Visitation Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Safe Visitation and Exchange Program. This program provides supervised visit and exchange services for families affected by domestic violence and contentious divorce, and children in the custody of Vermont Department for Children and Families whose parents need additional training and supervision to be reunited with their children. The Program Manager will be responsible for generating and managing referrals, hiring and training staff, developing staff schedules, completing intake assessments with families, managing a wait-list and at times, supervising visits.

This is a full time benefit eligible position working a flexible schedule to meet the needs of clients seeking services. . Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice or related field preferred with at least two years of management experience or Bachelor’s Degree in similar fields with five years of management experience. Candidates must demonstrate effective skills in dealing with families involved in abuse/neglect situation as well as those involved with domestic violence and contentious divorce. A thorough knowledge of community resources is expected. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to solve problems quickly and be familiar with de-escalation techniques.
