Child & Family Therapist - Office Based

Founded in 1963, Riverbend Community Mental Health is a private, nonprofit organization providing specialized behavioral health services in central New Hampshire. Core services include 24/7 emergency mobile crisis services; counseling services for children, adults, and families; and community support, vocational services, and residential programs for adults and seniors. Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based mental health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time therapist to work in our Children’s Intervention Program (ChIP), providing office-based therapy to children and families.  This position may involve work in a local school or primary care setting as well.

 
As an Office-based Child and Family Therapist, you will have the opportunity to engage with children of all ages and their family members.  We have a diverse clientele which will give you great opportunities to stretch your clinical expertise using a number of evidence-based models.  You’ll be part of a dedicated team of professionals engaged in similar work, and benefit from significant collegial support.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• NH Licensure preferred.

Note: If you have credentials from another state, our Human Resources Department can assist the successful candidate in securing the appropriate licensure to practice in NH.

• Office, school, and/or primary care support
• Case management and interagency coordination
• Crisis management
